Apex Energy Systems has been around since 2009 and are a direct-to-consumer window and door installation company. Essentially, the company sales people go house-to-house, neighborhood-to neighborhood selling their services. While they began by selling an upgraded Alside 8000 series (which they called the Insignia series), Apex now sells the Champion vinyl window. Browse below for the Apex windows price list and consumer cost quotes.
Company Rating: 8.0 out of 10
Price Point: 8.5 out of 10
Bottom Line: Apex sells door to door, which is a somewhat unique approach for window installation companies. And while this more in-your-face approach rubs some people the wrong way, the company does sell a good quality window and patio door. I’ll say this – if you do get a good price for your home from Apex, definitely consider it.

Apex Windows Cost
Consumers can expect to pay $900 to $1100 per Apex window and this includes the cost of installation.
$900 to $1100 Fully Installed
More Company Information
The company enjoyed brisk expansion into a number of different regions across much of the eastern half of the country. Apex differs from other companies in that it is a direct to consumer Window installer and is structured as a franchise, much like renewal by Anderson. In 2020, Apex was acquired by Great Day Improvements. Generally, this is quite a good window and patio door.
What They Sell
Apex now sells the Champion vinyl window. The following information is what they previously sold (and I have heard that some branches still sell the Insignia II). Apex sells a single vinyl window that is called the Insignia 2. The window is actually made by Alside and is an upgraded version of their 8000 series. All in all, the Insignia E2 is a good, but probably not great vinyl window. It does include some nice components and custom options.
How They Market
The company Champion windows and patio doors by going Neighborhood by neighborhood and knocking on doors. Hoping to find interested homeowners who need to replace their existing windows/doors. They often emphasize a promotional home program in which homeowners can get a discounted price if they place assigned in their yard that acts as advertising for Apex Home windows. Some consumers have complained that Apex can be a bit pushy when it comes to trying to sell their products.
Apex Windows Cost
Apex Energy Solutions prices will run 5 to 7 out of 10 for all final windows cost. This is a fair price for the quality of window. My concern is more in the installation quality that you’ll receive from branch to branch. Because the company is structured as a franchise, the quality controls on installation aren’t as solid as they might be with another company. Make sure to search for reviews from your specific branch to get a better idea on what you can expect from the overall insulation quality.
Apex Windows Price List
Love to see your recommended windows list? We recently had an Apex sales person who gave us a price quote on 14 windows that included removing and disposing of my existing windows. The total they quoted as $25K, which comes to nearly $1.8K per window!!!! That’s just too much, right?
