Larmco Windows A Great Choice

I am thrilled with the Larmco windows which I had installed recently. The installers were professional and installed all nine windows and patio door in only a day. The windows and door have great noise isolation, which I think is because of the triple pane. Even though I paid slightly more than some of the other quotes, I am thrilled with the choice. The job was completed neatly and the team cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend these windows to anyone without hesitation. Ned – Consumer – from 2008

Not the Best Experience

You would think that a company would want to make a good first impression on a potential customer, but I assure you we will not be installing Larmco windows. After deciding to replace all the windows in our home I contact Larmco and asked for an in-house appointment with one of their sales representatives at our home. This was done on the internet and we missed the call later on during the day. I called them to follow up on the appointment and ended up with a very rude woman on the other end of the phone that seemed angry that I was trying to set up an appointment without my husband being home. She told me my husband must be there otherwise they are wasting their time. Is she serious? I can make my own decisions. Anyway, I made the appointment and a salesman arrives and then he proceeded to waste two hours of our time trying to sell us some of the priciest windows I have ever heard of. What a nightmare experience. I will never be contacting Larmco again and would not recommend them either. Karen – Consumer – from 2008

Unprofessional Sales Man

Our mistake was contacting Larmco when looking to replace our windows. A salesman arrived and did what all the other window companies do. He started with a ridiculously high price and then started dropping his price as we negotiated, making a lot of offers, special deals and promotions. Which I think were in place to impress us. He started by quoting us close to $30,000 for all our windows and when he left the price was sitting at just over $17,000, now that is a huge discount. We told him we don’t mind paying for quality, but would be shopping around before making a final decision. Then he started the normal sales pitch that he could only offer that deal if we signed there and then, we refused to do this because we wanted to shop around a little more. Well that really got him going and he started telling us that we had wasted his time and he had driven so far to meet with us and carried on and on, once he had finished having a go at us, we asked him to leave and will never use Larmco again and suggest you don’t either. I’d suggest checking out what consumer reports recommends before starting this whole thing, just my two cents. Gerry – Consumer – from 2008
