United is a New Jersey company that has been manufacturing vinyl window and doors since the 1950s. They make the following windows: 3800, 4500, 5800, 7400, the Bold Collection, storm windows, as well as patio sliders. As a brand, the company is decent, but certainly not in the same category as an Anlin (west coast) or a Polaris.

Andersen is quite well known to many Americans. Unlike United (which is best known for vinyl windows), Andersen is best known for their premium wood-clad windows – they have been manufacturing them for well over one hundred years. Their wood series include the 200, 400, and Architectural. In addition, they make the 100 fibrex series, which they sell through Home Depot stores. Jelsie, the Okna is the best option. Honestly, I am shocked (in a great way) that it the least expensive option on the board. To be honest, if these were my bids this decision would be very easy.
