Thebco is an installation company, not an actual manufacturer. They are a Sunrise dealer, specifically the Sunrise Restorations series, a top vinyl window performer and one of the more narrow frames on the market (that still offer strength). The window comes standard with a Max Edge spacer, a smooth tilt sash, Fibercore lift rail reinforcement, foam filled chambers, and a high-transparency screen.
The Restorations will deliver a .04 air infiltration rate and a .27 U-value – impressive numbers to be sure.

Bill, what are your thoughts on Thebco windows out of Madison, Wisconsin? They gave us a bid on the Restorations series that came out to roughly $1100 per window fully installed. So, my question is, is this about what we can expect for all of our bids?

Marsha, Thebco gets good reviews on their services. In addition, they sell a very good window. However, $1100 per window seems like a pretty steep per window price at first glance. This isn’t to say that it isn’t fair, but you won’t know the answer to that until you get some additional bids. Basically, I think you have a good bid under your belt, now you just want to add two more on.
