Pella 250 Series Reviews

The 250 is the most popular series from Pella – by quite a bit. The main reason for this is due to the fact that it is sold in Lowes, which has hundreds of retail stores across the United States. Pella sells the 250 series through contractors and to large building companies putting together residential housing projects. In general, I would say that the Pella 250 series is a decent vinyl window. It isn’t a top tier series, but it’s a quality made unit. Certainly the 250 is a much better option than what Pella used to sell – those were some of the worst windows around.

Pella 250 Series Cost: Homeowners will pay $550 to $700 per window fully installed for this series. This is a price estimate – for actual project estimates, check out our window company project estimate page.

250 Series Review

We recently had a bid on 14 single hung windows that was for retrofit installation, which the sales guy said was the easiest of the different approaches. The quote was $8.7K and it included all project aspects. Curious what you think. We are in Knoxville, Tennessee and plan to be in the home for perhaps 5 to 8 more years.

Treena, I think that sounds like a very fair bid to me. Normally the 250 is quite a bit more expensive than what your bid came in at. Assuming you found a good company to do the install, I’d say you have a very good bid there.
