Our JKR Windows reviews (updated in 2024) can help homeowners better understand the company’s installation quality and overall price point. The company began back in 2016 and is based out of Utah. JKR does noes manufacture its own windows (like Simonton or Anlin Windows), but is instead only the installer (still a very important part of a successful process). More on our JKR windows reviews below.

JKR Windows Reviews
The company sells what they call the Energy Pro series, a vinyl window that has scant information about it. In fact, I have never heard of the Energy Pro and can find very little on it besides a generic drawing and list of features on the company site. To be sure, it is a relabeled window of some kind (we know this because JKR does not manufacture their own windows). However, I don’t know WHICH relabeled window it is. More to come when I find out 🙂
JKR sells directly to consumers (in like fashion to RbA — see our Renewal By Andersen reviews page for more. More specifically, JKR sells their windows and doors door-to-door (which then actually makes them closer to Apex Windows, which also sells door-to-door). Some consumers have complained about this odd “throwback” approach – namely that they can engage in some “hard sell” tactics.
JKR Windows has two showrooms — in George, Utah and Draper, Utah. The services all of Utah, as well as the following metro areas: Boise, Idaho, Las Vegas, Nevada, Seattle, Washington, Phoenix, Grand Junction, Colorado, Denver, Colorado, and Billings.
JKR Warranty
JKR offers a pretty impressive warranty – limited lifetime on the frame, sash, hardware and components (that they be free from manufacturing defects). Please note, that portion of the warranty is really offered by the manufacturer, which is not what JKR is. In terms of labor (this is the JKR portion), the company offers a five year provision, meaning they will cover the labor cost to replace the vinyl window in the case of a defective window. This is a nice policy period that most installation companies cap at one to two years.
The JKR warranty can be transferred to one additional owner. Exclusions apply (they always do, so please read the JKR warranty before you sign the work order on your replacement window project.
JKR Windows Cost
JKR prices should running anywhere from $700 to $975 per window fully installed.
Our advice is to collect three to four local bids in order to get a good sense of your project’s fair market price.
Low End Pricing: $700 to $825
Mid Range Pricing: $825 to $900
High End Pricing: $900 to $975

JKR vs Champion
JKR vs Champion Windows – I have bids on these two windows from some local dealers I found on Angis. So, my question is, what’s the better option between the two window brands would you say? Price quotes came in very close to one another and I’m just trying to understand what the better option is here.

[Site Editor’s Answer]
Nancy, these are two very different companies. Therefore, I would suggest that you read the jkr windows reviews page on our site to familiarize yourself with company – same for Champion. In general, JKR is an installer, Champion is a manufacturer and installer. To be honest, I prefer Champion in this case because I like the vinyl window they make. In a word, the Champion is the better quality product – the installation is really going to depend on the branch you go with.
