Pella is headquartered in Pella, Iowa and has been manufacturing windows and doors since 1925. The company has a number of different series, which include the Encompass (vinyl frame), 250 (vinyl frame), Hurricane Shield (impact window), Defender (impact window), Impervia (fiberglass frame), Lifestyle (wood-clad frame), Architect (wood-clad frame), and Reserve (wood-clad frame). Like Gerkin, Pella manufactures and sells their windows and patio doors through local retail companies across all 50 states. However, they sell their 250 vinyl window through the big box stores like Lowes.
