Feldco is an Illinois based vinyl window and door manufacturer that has been in the fenestration industry since 1976. Truthfully, I would say their vinyl windows are decent quality overall, while their Sophia series (the company’s premium vinyl window) is a solid option for many U.S. households. Company Rating: 7.0 out of 10
Bottom Line: Feldco is probably worth a bid. I’m not sure I would say they are a top tier company, but their premium vinyl window is a solid option.

Feldco Windows Reviews
Feldco operates throughout the state of Illinois, as well as in several of the surrounding states, including Iowa and Wisconsin. The Sophia series is Feldco’s best seller and also their premium vinyl window. Performance wise, the Sophia delivers a .26 U-factor, .27 SHGC, .51 VT, and 61 CR of 61. All in all, the Sophia offers impressive performance data and is the window series I would recommend for this company. Specifically, I would rate the Sophia series a 7.5 out of 10.
Feldco Warranty
Feldco warrants that their vinyl windows will be free of defects – this applies the window, all moving parts and hardware. In addition, they cover the labor cost on the install for five years (quite a nice time period on the labor). As well, the company offers complimentary re-screening. Finally, the Feldco warranty is transferable one time to a second owner, but this does require a title transfer and certified letter that you must send to the company.

Feldco Windows Reviews
So, now I have another question from you – Feldco, Provia or Okna? Who knew windows were so complicated! BTW, all of mine are double hung windows – okna 800 vs provia endure vs feldco sophia?

[Site Editor’s Answer]
Michaela, honestly, it depends on the price and the specific company offering you the project quotes. But, assuming the company reviews and online ratings are the same and the price points are equal, here are my picks in order of best to least best. One, the Okna 800. Two, the ProVia Endure. Three, the Feldco Sophia.
Truthfully, these three window options are excellent, but the Okna 800 window can’t be beat. Thanks for check out our feldco windows reviews page and please reach out if there are any additional questions you have on your window replacement project!
