Paradigm Windows Reviews

Overall, Paradigm has a pretty darn good reputation for quality windows and doors, although they still aren’t in that best vinyl windows category like an Okna, Soft-Lite or Polaris. The company manufactures both the 5 Series (base vinyl series) and the 8 Series (upgraded vinyl series), which can be ordered as replacement windows (no nailing fin) or as new construction (includes nailing fin). These are both considered good, but perhaps not great, windows.

Paradigm Windows Warranty

Paradigm has a limited lifetime warranty on their products – specifically that they are free from manufacture defects. If problems arise in the first five years from the installation date, Paradigm will replace or repair the windows and pay for all labor installation costs. On the downside, the Paradigm warranty cannot be transferred to an additional owner (most warranties have some transfer-ability).

Mid vs High End Windows

Bill, I’ve been a fan of your site for several years since I first started thinking about replacement windows for our current house. So, I was back on your site today, but I’m getting error messages when I try to access the page to get quotes. It will be a large job: 42 windows and 3 standard sliders. I’m not decided between the mid vs. high end windows as we aren’t sure how long we’ll be in the house – most likely more than 12 years, but not sure how much more than that.

Our house is fairly large and has a lot of open/2-story space with numerous large, bay windows (that don’t need to be replaced), so we really need to control heat/cooling loss via all the glass. The current (original) Anderson wood windows (circa 1989) are terrible. The Okna and Soft-lite windows seem very solid in both tiers as replacements. Also looking at Paradigm as they have a local supplier here that gets very good reviews.

I would like to start getting quotes and use your service for the process. Please advise how to do this when I cannot access the start point via your website.

Hi Mike, thanks for the nice words and I am happy to help you through the process. Here is a link to the online form. I definitley like Okna and Soft-Lite. Paradigm is a solid brand, although I would probably put them a step below these other two options. My advise is to collect your bids and then let’s look at them side by side and choose the one that offers the best window at the best price point!
