ProVia Windows is based out of Ohio and has been in the fenestration industry for over five decades. The company sells both doors and windows and has quite a good / great reputation in the industry. ProVia is quite a good quality brand. They sell two particular window series that get excellent reviews. The ProVia Aspect is a very good option, while their high end Endure series is considered a top tier vinyl window. Browse below to check out our ProVia Windows reviews.

ProVia Endure Windows Reviews

The Endure is the company’s high end vinyl window and one of the best in the industry. I would put the Endure in my top 30 list. Therefore, a definite buy (but only after you collect four to five price bids in order to know you are getting the best deal).

Are ProVia Windows Any Good?

Hi Bill, I used your web site to figure out a decent vinyl windows for replacement. Thank you for posting this site. It was very helpful. May I ask for advice? I am replacing 13 windows with vinyl, double-hungs, double pane, cottage grids, low-e glass, gas: 7 each 35w x 57h, 3 each 39w x 69h, 1 each 39w x 57h, 1 each 31w x 57h, 1 each 35w x 33 h

I received the following best quotes for these brands with all having comparable terms and conditions (warranty, transferable, glass breakage, labor, installation process) :

$14,191 – Sunrise V4500 (aka Vanguard) with Omega 12 glass package (standard with this installer, e-coating on inside and outside of glass)

$16,627 – Vytex Potomac HP with Energy Saver Plus-hp glass package (e-coating on outside of glass)

$15,531 – Provia Endure with Comfort-Tech DLA-UV (standard for Endure)

Is it a no-brainer to go with the $14,191 bid or is there something compelling with Vytex or ProVia to justify the additional expenditure? I appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

Janet, happy to help! Basically you have three awesome windows – all from great brands. That is a victory in and of itself. So yes the Sunrise Vanguard window makes the most sense given the price point comparisons. However, those prices are close to one another – close enough that I would make the decision based on the company doing the installation. Thank you for your ProVia windows reviews page – super helpful for noobs such as us.

That will be the bigger long term factor for how well everything holds up. I’d take a look at all of the companies and see which has the best overall rating(s) and reviews – then go from there. Assuming the company reviews are all equal – I’d do the Sunrise Vanguard myself and save the $2500!

ProVia Windows Cost

The following prices are suggestions only. Consumer bids are often all over the board and this is one reason why we always advise getting several bids from local companies. To be honest, this is the only true way to know if you are getting the fair market price for your project.

ecoLite Series: $800 installed

Aspect Series: $850 installed

Endure Series: $950 installed

Aeris Series: $1350 installed

ProVia Aspect Windows Reviews

The Aspect is the company’s drop down vinyl window and considered a good quality option at the right price point – still recommend that you collect multiple price bids before you pull the trigger on the Provia Aspect.

Aspect Series vs. Alside Mezzo

Bill, hoping you could provide some advice on replacing all of the windows in our home in the Nashville TN area. We have 5 installation quotes. All of the quotes are for 30 windows – 26 DH, 2 fixed and 2 eyebrow transoms. We are surprised by the spread and know that some may be better than others but how much is too much? Thanks in advance for your response.

Okna Eco Pro Deluxe 600 $53,260.00
Alside Mezzo $23,270.00
Pella 250 $58,979.00
Provia Aspect $26,145.00
Apex Insignia $36,515.00

Bob, I am always surprised by the spread myself. It’s incredible, but good on you for doing your due diligence on your project. Therefore, the ProVia Aspect would be my call here. Bottom line, this is a very good window and provides the best value of the bunch. I’m not sure what the installation quality is, but this is a close to top tier window!

ProVia Aeris Windows Reviews

The Aeris is the company’s wood clad window series. I don’t hear about it all that often, but it is a well made product (like everything they do). I inherently have issues with wood clad windows and how look they will last before wood rot and/or overall functionality is impaired.

Aeris Series vs Endure

Fair enough to see on the fiberglass. I’m interested in Provia windows, saw you recommend the Endure for the top-tier vinyl. Any thoughts on the Aeris line? I’m concerned the Endure wood laminate is going to peel up/chip due to how thin the layer is. I’m curious on your take on the Aeris and if it’s worth the price jump with the real wood clad? (For reference, I really like my parents’ Marvin wood clad windows but am thinking of doing vinyl exterior if the Marvins are out of price range.)

Anne, I am always hesitant to endorse wood clad windows. The Aeris is a solid wood window, but I also don’t hear much about it very often. ProVia doesn’t sell nearly as many of the Aeris series as they do the Endure and Aspect. The other thing is that I have never heard the complaint that the wood laminate peels or chips – mainly because the laminate is on the inside. Therefore, it gets very little wear and tear (as opposed to the outside where sun, rain and wind can do their thing over time).

I love Marvin windows as well, as yes they are expensive 🙂 I just think the ProVia Endure with the interior wood laminate is the way to go from a long term value perspective. Wood windows have a 20 to 25 year warranty, and often this is how long they last…that is my opinion, but if you have to have wood, then the Aeris is a good call.
