European-style windows often means a bulky unit – but one that is incredibly energy efficient. It’s a tough trade off for many American consumers. Nothing else to add here – yet – gonna add more when I get my first consumer review(s).

Bill, thank you for the email and advice.The quoted prices for the window mfg’s so far include installation. Anderson knows they are way too expensive and volunteered to come out again to give me a best and final quote. I have an OKNA, Provia and Legacy W&D person coming out next week to quote. I will get back in touch after they all give me the bids. Is Coastal the same as PGT Windows?

Scott, wow, all great brands on the horizon for you (with the exception of Legacy Windows And Doors, which I still don’t know too much about). Coastal??? PGT is PGT Innovations so no I don’t think it’s Coastal. I know there is a Coastal Windows in Hawaii, but I’m pretty sure you’re not referring to that…
