NT Windows Reviews And Consumer Price Quotes
NT is considered a good quality second tier manufacturer. So not the most expensive on the market, but a quality buy given the right price point. The company sells a number of vinyl windows, including the Presidential, Executive, Traditions, Energy Master, Solar Pro, and the 1800 impact window series. As well, NT also sell the Twinsulator aluminum clad window. In terms of doors, NT sells an Urbania (aluminum), Loft (aluminum), and R301 (vinyl).
NT Windows Warranty
NT offers a limited lifetime warranty on their windows that they be free of manufacturing defects. Specifically, this includes the frame, sash, insulated glass unit, hardware, and all parts. (As always, exclusions apply so best to read the actual warranty if you do plan to purchase NT windows.)
In addition, the warranty can be transferred for the first 10 years of the install date. The company will cover the cost of labor for 1 year from the installation date. Glass breakage is covered for just 90 dyas. Unfortunately, all storm or impact windows are covered for 5 years – that’s it.
Replacement Window Bids In DFW
I have the bids below so far for the following 9 windows: 1 slider in a bedroom, 1 picture in a bathroom, 4 single hungs with a half moon over one of them, with grids, and Changing 2 single hungs to a picture over a slider
Anlin Del Mar (Houston Window Experts now in DFW) with discounts which no longer apply because it was only good until the end of July and I got the bid 6 days before so a decision by then wasn’t going to happen: $9626.33 (with discounts) without $13,232.07 so sounds like the kind of sales tactics Jeff’s videos warn which makes this estimate surprising. OSI Certified
NT Energy Master with The Window Connection: $8833.57 OSI Certified but the caulking wasn’t listed in the bid since they always use it.
Vistamark Endura with Pro Tex Remodeling: $9797.78 OSI Certified but another product, Siroflex, was in the bid instead. This brand isn’t on your list but Jeff at Houston Window Experts told me it has better manufacturing than NT Energy Master. He sells both. However, when I asked for a bid on Vistamark as well as Anlin, his DFW sales guys told me the Anlin came in lower so did not even send the Vistamark bid. Had a bid on this brand two years ago when I tried to buy windows for around $7300.00 so these have really one up or Pro Tex is too high. Suspect the latter.
I’d appreciate your feedback on these bids and companies.

Debbie, this is what I would do – I would go back to Houston Window Experts and tell them that as soon as they give you their original price of $9626, you’ll sign the work order. Tell them you’re flexible on dates — then I would wait for a week or two. If they don’t call and put you on the schedule then let’s go from there. I’m sort of surprised that they would use those sales tactics. If you really want to be snarky, ask them point blank what happened at the end of july that drove the price up 40% 🙂
“OSI Certified but another product, Siroflex, was in the bid instead.”
They said that Siroflex was what, another brand of window??? I’ve never heard of that…

NT vs Anlin
Hi Bill, money aside, would you choose the NT Presidential over the Anlin Del Mar? If so why? Really appreciate your NT windows reviews page. Worth every penny 🙂

The Anlin Del Mar is better than the Presidential series in my opinion. Better performance numbers (which is a product of fit, tolerance, materials) and better overall brand. I like both, but if it were for my own home, the Del Mar would be the winner.

Which Vinyl Window Is Best
Bill how would you rate the NT Presidential versus the Pella 250 series. I have quotes on both of these windows and really don’t know how I should go one way or the other. Pricing is close.

Patrick, if the price is close, I would probably go with which company that gave you the bids has the better overall ratings. I would also suggest reading our Pella and NT windows reviews page. This is the bigger factor due to the fact that these two windows are very close in quality to one another. If I had to choose on window alone, I’d go with the NT Presidential compared to the 250 – but not by a large margin.
