Vinylmax windows prices sit in the middle of the overall vinyl window market. Consumers can expect to pay anywhere between $350 and $750 per window installed, depending on the series, size, upgrades, and glass package.
Vinylmax manufactures a number of replacement windows, including the Newton, Edison, Prestige, Franklin, Radiance Plus, and Choice Collection. This order goes from premium (Newton) to entry level (Choice Collection).
Vinylmax enjoys a solid reputation in the industry, especially for their Newton, Edison and Prestige series. These are the three lines that I can endorse without any qualms. I think their Franklin is a decent mid range vinyl window, and I would tend to stay away from the lower end series.

Newton Vinyl Window
The Vinylmax Newton series is the company’s premium vinyl window. A very solid offering that comes standard with a slope sill, die cast locks thermal insulation, a cove interior sash, shadow-grooved sash welds, and an extruded half screen. Expect the double hung Newton to offer .28 U-value and .09 air infiltration.
Reasonable Pricing – $600 to 750 installed
Edison Vinyl Window
The Vinylmax Edison series is a small step down from the Newton Series. Standard features include a fusion-welded frame, triple weatherstripping, Intercept spacer, extruded lift rails, and composite cam locks.
The Vinylmax Edison window is available as a hornizontal slider, picture window, or as a double hung. Consumers can expect the double hung to deliver a .28 U-factor, .12 air infiltration, .50 VT, and 60 CR. While that air infiltration is higher than I’d like to see, the overall window is solid.
Reasonable Pricing – $550 to 700 installed
Prestige Vinyl Window
The Vinylmax Prestige series is the company’s casement window. A nice looking window that achieves solid performance data, including a .03 air infiltration rating. If you like casements, this is certainly worth a look.
Reasonable Pricing – $550 to 700 installed
Vinylmax Prestige Windows Cost
Hi! Picking your brain again, next Spring, I will replace 3 34×68 windows in living room. Looking at Vinylmax Prestige casements run about $1400 for all 3, windows only, I will install. Newton’s with triple panes are $900, double hungs with 2 panes, $800. In the STL mkt. Last 3 windows to replace. I like the price of the double hinges with 3 panes of glass the best. Is it worth paying $500 more for casements? Prestige casement vs Newton 3 pane double hung. Which is a more efficient window? Looks like newton with 2 panes has a AL of .09, prestige casement has a AL of .03. Other stats are similar.
Just replaced 3 lower windows with vinylmax prestige casements, 34×33. Look great, 38 degrees outside and the inside pane does not feel cold. Our house is a late 70s bi-level.
Appreciate the help! Also, vinylmax is a solid company? Do you like their spacer system? I read somewhere you can upgrade to a foam spacer.

Douglas, casements are always the much more efficient windows over the double hungs. I’m surprised that the Newton DH has a .09 air infiltration rating. I thought it was better for some reason. The Newton is still a good window and I wonder what the AL is for the triple pane.
I personally like casements quite a bit, but some people defer double hungs. Casements get better energy efficiency, but if the look bugs you, don’t get them. I think it comes down to your own personal preference.
Vinylmax is a pretty solid company. Their top offerings are good. They use a pretty standard spacer, but I can’t remember off hand what it is. If the upgrade cost to the foam spacer is $20 or less, I’d probably step up.

Hyde Park Vinyl Window
The Hyde Park series is considered the lowest of the windows offered by Vinylmax. They have poor performance numbers with a very bad AI of 0.17 and a standard U-factor of 0.30. These windows do come with a lifetime warranty and can be compared to the PlyGem Pro, except the Vinylmax Hyde Park has a heavier and sturdier frame.
Reasonable Pricing – $325 installed
Easton Vinyl Window
The Easton may have the same performance numbers as the Hyde Park series, but they offer some upgrades. These windows are available as a picture, slider or double hung window and you can improve the performance numbers with a triple pane upgrade which also improves sound blockage. These windows are often compared to the Simonton 5050.
Reasonable Pricing – $400 installed
Sherwood Wood Clad Windows
The Sherwood series is the higher end vinylmax model which has a vinyl exterior and a wooden interior. The interior is usually either poplar or oak. While this is considered the higher end for Vinylmax windows, it is still considered a lower end when looking at the best wood windows available on the market. These windows offer a bulky frame and many contractors feel they look more like glued veneer than wood, but at the same time they are one of the more affordable wood clad options on the market.
Reasonable Pricing – $525 installed
