Company Rating: 7.5 out of 10
Overall Price Point: 6.5 out of 10
Bottom Line: Simonton manufactures and sells a good vinyl window and patio slider. Certainly worth a bid in my estimation.

Simonton Windows Prices | 5050 Series
The 5050 (which is now called the Assure Window Series) is the entry level option from Simonton and one of our picks for the best budget windows on the market. It has a fairly narrow profile, which means more glass but lower performance numbers. Most contractors use this as their builder grade window and some of their upgraded models are certainly better and nicer looking. Again, a decent option for homeowners on a budget.
The Prism Bronze and the Reflections 5050 are basically the same window, a good entry level model. A narrow profile allows for a larger glass viewing area. It isn’t a bad quality for the price, but most contractors would recommend upgrading to one of the better lines.

Simonton 5300 Series Cost
The Reflections 5300 and Prism are basically the same window (one is typically available on the East Coast and one on the West Coast). The Prism may have one of two additional upgrades and carries a slightly better warranty than the 5300 model. This is one of the mid range model from Simonton and is nice option.

Simonton Windows Prices | 5500 Series
The Reflections 5500 model and the Prism Platinum are identical and one of the better window lines from the company. The frame is thicker and sturdier and will offer better U-factor and air infiltration because of it. The window comes standard with some nice features and is a popular choice for homeowners and contractors.

Replacement Windows Cost Quotes
Good evening. Below are quotes I’ve received for 16 windows from 3 different window companies. All of them seem to be decent windows with the Marvin window on the premium side. I’m back and forth between the ProVia window or Soft Lite window. Any recommendations or suggestions?
Simonton 5050 – $14,200
Simonton 5500 – $16,500
ProVia Aspect – $16,300
ProVia Endure – $16,800
Soft Lite Classic Plus/Nirvana – $15,200
Soft Lite Classic Pro – $17,000
Marvin Essential – $37,200
Chuck – Homeowner – from 2024
[Site Editor’s Answer]
Definitely the Marvin Essential Collection – just kidding, that’s such a crazy price difference – you could get two sets of the other vinyl windows and still save over the Marvin windows price quote.
My list (from best to least best) would go like this (factoring in price and window quality): the ProVia Endure, then the Aspect, then the Soft Lite Classic, then the Soft Lite Classic Pro, then the Simonton 5500.

Simonton Windows Prices | Daylight Max Series
The Daylight Max Series maximizes the glass area – meaning a thinner frame. Of course, this will sacrifice on energy efficiency. I consider this more of an entry level window from Simonton.
