American Weathertechs Reviews
American Weather Techs is not a window manufacturer. Instead, they install windows and doors (along with the other services listed in the opener). In regards to windows, the company sells the Preservation series, which is manufactured by Alside Windows. While Alside is known as top tier brand, the company does make a quality window in the Preservation. This series integrates some quality components and parts. In fact, the Preservation is very similar to what Apex Windows used to sell in their Insignia series.
AW currently operates two branches; one in Cincinnati and another in Columbus, Ohio.

Preservation Bid From Weather Techs
Bill, thanks for the PROMPT and extensive feedback. I had only recently heard of Okna windows from another neighbor and you seem to confirm their fine recommendations. So, what do you think the cost difference between the 500 and 600 series are AND do you think the benefits outweigh the extra cost? I’m in Ohio and have also had a bid on the Preservation series from American WeatherTechs.

Lila, the Okna 500 is good. However, the 600 series is great. In terms of the Preservation, I would put this window below the 500 series – still quite good, but not quite up to any of the Okna products. Every dealer gets different pricing so it really depends on the bid. Collect a handful of bids – you’ll be amazed at the differences in prices – even on the exact same product sometimes. Ironical, prices are often all over the board.
