ProVia Endure vs Andersen Windows

ProVia Endure vs Andersen Windows – how do these two options match up? Let’s examine each one and see how they compare and contrast.

This is an interesting comparison in that the ProVia Endure is an actual vinyl window series, while Andersen Windows And Doors is a company that offers a handful of products. So what are we actually comparing here? Andersen’s two most popular windows are the 100 composite series and their 400 wood clad series. The 100 series is a very decent composite window and the 400 series is a very good wood clad window. The ProVia Endure is a top tier vinyl window.

ProVia Endure vs Andersen Windows

ProVia Endure vs Andersen Windows | Company Info

ProVia Windows And Doors is an Ohio based company that manufactures and sells both vinyl window and doors. In fact, they cut their teeth in the door industry if you will. Their top two windows, the Aspect and Endure series, both have great reputations in the industry as quality windows and doors.

While not available out West (their doors are to a small extent), they have a robust pretense in the mid west and north east. The company has been expanding pretty rapidly so I expect ProVia to be available in more and more states in the coming years.

The ProVia Endure is the company’s premier vinyl window series and door. The window is a high quality unit that attains a .05 air infiltration and comes standard with tons of great features and components. The Endure series is one of the better vinyl windows on the market today. A definite buy if the price point is fair.

ProVia Endure vs Andersen Windows Dealers

Andersen Windows And Doors

Andersen is a well known quantity in the window and door industry with the largest brand name recognition of any company, with the possible exception of Pella. (I’d love to know if more Americans have heard of Andersen vs Pella.) Regardless, Andersen is well known and well respected.

They manufacture and sells four series, which include the Architectural, 400, 200, and 100 series. Please note, all of these are wood windows with the exception of the 100, which is their composite frame window.

Unlike ProVia, Andersen windows and doors can be found in all 50 states. Simply put, Andersen is just a much larger operation than ProVia and there industry reach is miles ahead of ProVia.

Provia Endure Warranty

The Endure includes a lifetime warranty on all parts of the window, and includes the screen frame and glass breakage. Please note, the window warranty protects against manufacturing defects, not baseballs that fly through the glass.

The ProVia warranty may be transferred to an additional owner, but this new owner must register the title transfer and pay the $50 transfer fee. All said and done, this is a very solid warranty – much better than anything offered by Andersen.

However, it will be considerably less than the 200 series and much less than the 400 and / or A series from Andersen.
