The company sells and installs vinyl windows and doors – note they are not a manufacturer. They sell directly to consumers and have branches in all 50 states. Window World has a reputation as a budget vinyl window option. They sell a lot of windows.

Andersen Windows And Doors is based out of Minnesota, and they have been part of the fenestration industry since 1903. The company manufactures and sells wood clad and composite windows – meaning they don’t overlap with Window World in any appreciable way. Andersen sells through local dealers in all 50 states. Andersen Windows enjoys a very good reputation in the industry.


Window World Ratings

Window World has just an okay reputation overall. Most of this is due to the fact that WW focused on budget vinyl windows and doors. Certainly they have a good reputation for selling a well priced window. The companies 4000 series is decent, while their 6000 series is often a quality window.
