Earthwise Windows is made up of more than a dozen independent manufacturers located mostly in the eastern half of the United States. The company started in 2004 and works like a co-op of sorts where the members bind together to get better pricing on window parts and units. Browse below for our Earthwise windows reviews.
Company Rating: 6.5 out of 10
Price Point: 6.5 out of 10
Bottom Line: Earthwise is a bit of a grab bag, depending on which of the companies you use. Get a bid, but do check the online reviews of the company to make sure they have a solid reputation for quality.
(Always collect 3 to 4 additional bids)

Earthwise Windows Explained
Earthwise members buy windows and patio doors from them, then assemble them at their own factory locations – and then sell them to their customers. All of the “members” are regional companies that sell in only a number of metro markets. The original idea came about as a way for smaller companies to compete with the larger manufacturers on input prices (which eventually becoming customer prices).
Consumers need to understand that they are buying the windows from the manufacturer (member of Earthwise group) instead of the source (Earthwise). Therefore, consumer ought to look up the online ratings and/or reviews of the company you are buying from in order to get a solid understanding of the quality you can expect. We always recommend that consumers collect four to five bids as a way to insure that you are getting the best price possible for your home windows.
Earthwise Windows Warranty
There isn’t an Earthwise warranty per se. Instead, the warranty will come from the company or “member” that you purchase the window from. Most offer a limited lifetime warranty that protects the original buyer from any manufacturing defects. The warranty may be transferred to another owner, but the warranty period is only good for 10 years from the installation data. (Also, there is a $75 transfer fee.) All in all, the warranty is mediocre when compared with other top warranties in the business.

Replacement Window Bid
Bill, hi, I have a bid on an Earthwise window – I’m not sure which model, but it’s a double hung style. I also have a bid on the Okna 500 and the Ideal Platinum 3000 series. Any advice on which option is the best?

Editor’s Reply
Jackson, no knowing what series or model on the Earthwise means I won’t comment on that option. Brand wise, Okna and Ideal are going to be better than Earthwise in my opinion. I like the Platinum 3000 over the Okna 500 series myself. If you let me know pricing, I could fine tune my response. Our Earthwise windows reviews page provides more information on that particular brand if you want to take 5 minutes and read my editor’s review. Cheers.
