Feldco Windows Cost And Pricing
Feldco offers their windows and doors throughout Illinois, as well as in Iowa and Wisconsin. They offer two basic options to their customers: the Feldco base model and the upgraded Sophia model (not quite a best vinyl window, but a solid second tier option). The company offers relatively affordable vinyl windows and doors, although each project is going to vary based on the condition of the windows and sills.
I don’t love putting an actual dollar figure on prices, but for a standard sized double hung window with retrofit installation (as opposed to full frame installation), consumers might pay $650 to $800 per window and fully installed.
Feldco Window Warranty
The company provides a solid warranty as a whole. Like most vinyl window manufacturers, Feldco provides a limited lifetime warranty on all the window parts (frame, sash, hardware, and all components).
They also provide a labor warranty for five years from the date of installation. this means that Feldco will cover the labor cost of replacing the windows if there is a manufacturing defect.
Finally, the Feldco warranty may be transferred one time, although the new owner will need to notify the company of the title transfer (and include a certified letter).

Joannie, my call here would be either the Feldco Sophia Window for $725. However, if you plan to stay in your home for 15 years plus, then I think you really need to consider the Harvey. Truth be told, this is the better window in my opinion. But, that’s my make or break time.
