Majic Window Reviews And Product Info

In terms of windows, the company originally sold vinyl windows, which today account from roughly 70% of the entire window industry in the United States. Near the end of the 2000s, the company transitioned into selling fiberglass windows and has been doing that ever since. According to the company website, Majic Window manufactures and sells the best energy efficient fiberglass windows in the United States.

I can’t verify this claim, but I would be surprised if it were true given how energy efficient Alpen HPP windows are. But I could be wrong – it certainly wouldn’t be the first time.

Fiberglass Window Options

Bill: I just watched your Utube video on replacement windows. I am requesting per your video, a list of recommended replacement window companies. Also, i have 3 quotes already for 5 windows, double hung, fiberglass, but Anderson composite and all low E glass.

Marvin Ultrex Fiberglass $11,500
Anderson Acclaim $14,800
Pella Impervia $11,750
Majic Fiberglass: $12,200

I am still waiting for a Provia Aspect and Endure options all vinyl window quotes from a local contractor in Ohio called Bellario Construction. As you can see, Anderson is the highest by 20%. Marvin and Pella are basically equal. Based on your Provia review, I would expect their windows to be less expensive. But to be honest, I am having a difficult time comparing vinyl to the above three fiberglass windows due to the strength, durability, color fade, efficiency, and warranty.

Once all the quotes are in order, I will take you up on your offer to review them with me for pros and cons. Let me know if you have any comments so far? Thank you.

Scott, the Impervia is not a good fiberglass window in my opinion. Renewal makes a good window, but it’s just too expensive. The Marvin Integrity or Elevate (I’m assuming) is a very good window and that’s the one I would pick out of these three. Yes, I would assume the ProVia would be less expensive and would probably the one I would pick over the Marvin (unless you are good with the cost premium), although the company doing the install would be an important component in this equations as well. All in all, I think you have some very good options where you don’t have to consider the Majic Window fiberglass window. No need in my opinion.
